The turmeric used in "Japan Gold Turmeric" is grown in the naturally rich Yanbaru region in the northern part of Okinawa Prefecture. It is a 50:50 blend of wild turmeric and autumn turmeric, each with its own unique charm. "Wild turmeric" blooms bright pink flowers in spring, while "Autumn turmeric" blooms pure white flowers in autumn. The seasonal colors are truly a gift from nature.

The turmeric grown by our dedicated farmers without pesticides is a blessing from nature that is gentle on the body. Visiting the turmeric harvesting scene

In March, harvest season, we visit the turmeric fields of Yanbaru again. It is moving to see the turmeric that the farmers have grown with care being carefully harvested, the soil removed, and packed into boxes one by one. It fills us with happiness to think that this turmeric will be made into a product that will benefit everyone's health.

Vegan certification

In recent years, the number of vegetarians, people with allergies, and people with dietary restrictions for religious reasons has been increasing. We felt that it was essential for our "Japan Gold Turmeric" to obtain vegan certification as we were creating products with an eye on overseas markets. By clearing strict standards and not using any animal-derived ingredients or conducting animal testing, we obtained vegan certification from the NPO VegeProject Japan in February 2022. This certification has allowed more people to purchase our products with peace of mind.

Taking on the UAE market

In November 2023, we at JHL+ established a new base in the United Arab Emirates, and after receiving official product registration from the Dubai government, we began selling "JAPAN GOLD TURMERIC" in Dubai in February 2024. In order to spread the high-quality products cultivated in Japan to the world, we made careful preparations and obtained many documents to obtain this approval. Currently, our products are available at many stores, including ENOC gas stations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, and Sharjah, as well as the Filipino supermarket, 1004 Gourmet.
