Tradition Meets Science – The Japan Health Lab Challenge

The official JHL+ website has been renewed. We’re also excited to introduce our new product at this time.

Japan Health Lab Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture—a place rich in history and culture—where we are dedicated to harnessing the power of nature for better health.

Among these, we have been developing products using "Gynura bicolor" (known locally in Kanazawa as Kinjiso, with the official name Suisenjina), a vegetable long cherished in Kanazawa.

In developing this product, we teamed up with Professor Tomihisa Ohta, Professor Emeritus of Kanazawa University and Doctor of Pharmacy, to explore the potential of this plant from a scientific perspective.

Professor Ohta is a leading expert who has conducted years of research and holds a patent for a blood sugar-lowering agent using Gynura bicolor. Drawing on his expertise, he has developed a product that takes the blessings of tradition and enhances them with the power of science.

Revitalizing Tradition with Science – The Story of Japan Health Lab

Japan Health Lab, based in the historic city of Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture, is committed to leveraging the power of nature to promote better health.

One of our key innovations features Gynura bicolor, a traditional Kaga vegetable cherished in Kanazawa for centuries. In collaboration with Professor Tomihisa Ota, a renowned pharmacist and Emeritus Professor at Kanazawa University, we have developed a groundbreaking product based on this remarkable plant.

Kinjiso, known scientifically as Suizenjina, has been the subject of extensive research by Professor Ota. His dedication led to a patented blood sugar-lowering formula derived from this powerful botanical.

We invite you to explore our newly revamped website and discover more about this unique supplement and its benefits.
